As I type we have about an hour until the New Year here. I could to a sappy reflection of the year, but I will spare everyone the details. The best thing that came from 2011 was Lily, and 2012 brings even more greatness.
On the last day of 2011, Lily has almost rolled over and almost gotten into perfect crawling position. I don't want to say she will be crawling by the end of January, but if she keeps up this rate she probably will be.
Her Great-Grandmother taught her something yesterday and she has been trying to do it aaaall day -- blowing raspberries with her lips. Instead of the tongue out, it's just the lips. She's been sucking in her bottom lip, blowing out and getting spit everywhere while she hums. It's so cute! You can tell she's trying.
And update on the rolling over -- She would have JUST rolled over if a bar from her play gym wasn't in her way. Good lord, it's too soon! I will let everyone know if she rolls.
Well, I'm off to watch the ball drop and the like. Have a Happy and Safe New Year!
Lol! I taught my youngest granddaughter to do the raspberry. I love it. Her daddy may not feel the same when he gets home from Korea. Oh well. I enjoy reading about other little ones. I hope you don't mind I post Lily's first word post on my blog http://nonon-centsnanna.blogspot.com
