Copy Kids Healthy Eating DVD: Review and Giveaway! Ends 5/9

My family has a history of diabetes, so both my daughter and I are at risk if we don't eat properly.  I want to instill healthy eating habits in our family, so I know I need to start early with Lily to see that happen.  However, I am not 100% sure where to begin.  Sure, I feed her healthy foods, but what happens when she no longer wants to try new things?  I know that day will come, and I dread it.

I then read about Copy-Kids and became relieved!  It a DVD designed for kids so that they learn from the best source -- other kids!

Let me explain:

Copy-Kids shows young children eating different kinds of healthy fruits and vegetables. Children feel compelled to copy other children, so when they see other kids eating "grown-up food" it is no longer "grown-up food" but good food for them, too.  It must taste good if other kids are eating it, right?

This DVD was approved by the USDA as teaching material for young children and has won -- not one but -- two awards so far!  That being said, this MUST be a good product, right? Talk about exciting! Knowing this DVD has already helped other children make good choices in healthy eating and nutrition made my day.

Lily still does not have teeth, but I felt if I started her on this DVD she would become used to the idea sooner. I was worried, however, that maybe she wouldn't be interested in watching it. So I sat down with her and we watched.

Until I started messing with her and recording she was hooked.  She went back to watching after I hid the camera.  It made me feel a LOT better knowing she was into it.

My impression of it was adorableness.  There were young children of all ages, even a 9-month-old that Lily could better relate to.  The kids would talk about their food in a happy way and eat it with a big smile on their face.  It definitely made eating healthy look fun!

Now if I need some me-time to get things done, I can put this DVD on and not only entertain Lily, but allow her to learn some healthy eating habits from other children. Win-win!

Where can I get one?

  4. A few things that can help avoid this issue are taking digestive enzymes before eating large meals,
not drinking a lot of liquid before or while eating (this dilutes natural digestive enzymes and stomach acid), drinking a
lot of water, and adding probiotics to your diet. Eating
out, especially fast food, frequently can do harm to your health.
