Anytime Costumes Review and Giveaway (Ends 5/8)

I have always been a big fan of dress-up and costumes.  Halloween is definitely my favorite time of year to dress up, but it isn't the only time.  There are Renaissance fairs that I dream of going to as well as just days I want to be fun.  Not to mention movie theater premiers, right?  But stores don't always carry costumes, and Halloween Express is not always open all year (much to my dismay!)  That's where Anytime Costumes comes in!

They have a wide-variety of costumes from infant to adult.  I decided I wanted to find a costume for Lily that would fit her come Halloween.  I have enough outfits as it is, so it's time to build her wardrobe!

I was browsing through Anytimecostumes.com and I found one I could NOT get away from -- An adorable infant Lion costume.  Lily's my little Leo so I was attached immediately.  It looked adorable on the site and I could not wait to try it on her!  I ordered an infant 6-12 month (Small) size for her.  She is 8 months old now so I suspected it would be a little large, but hoped she would not outgrow it before Halloween.

When the costume came in the mail I IMMEDIATELY opened it up to try it on her.  Obviously I was more excited than she was, but that's okay.

Isn't it cute?
The costume came in two parts: The mane as a hood with a velcro patch to hold it in place and the body.  The body had velcro on the back of the neck and the legs had snaps for easy diaper access.  It looked a lot bigger than I thought, so I got a little worried, but I was a lot happier to know she won't outgrow it before Halloween!

I got the body outfit on Lily pretty easily. It was definitely big on her, but it was expected to be. She did not seem irritated by the material at all, which was great. It was very soft and well-put-together, and the hood even had fluff in it to add to softness. I feel like the quality was a lot better than something I would have bought at Wal-Mart!

Lily is going through a phase where she doesn't like anything on her head.  That's okay, though, because the outfit is still cute!!  My only sadness was that there was no tail, but a crawling infant probably does not need one.  I'm sure Lily appreciates not being tripped up!

I am definitely satisfied with this product.  There was nothing loose or a choking hazard for Lily, the quality is very nice, and I feel that for being a $27.99 costume it is definitely worth it.  I will definitely be updating for Halloween!!

Anytime Costumes has many different kinds of costumes for all occasions for a wide range of prices.  There were a few Southern Belle and Renaissance gowns I'm dying to get my hands on!
