UGLee Pen Review and Giveaway (Ends 5/22)

When I was little I had a lot of trouble writing "the right way."  I personally feel there is no right or wrong way to hold a pencil as long as the handwriting is neat. Mine, unfortunately, was very messy so I needed a change. The little grips and things that were added to pencils to help me learn to hold it "correctly" caused me some issues and I rebelled against it until third grade because I thought kids at my new school would make fun of me if I didn't.

I read about UGLee Pens and got to try them out myself. I was very excited for the opportunity because my hands do cramp easily if I write for too long (whose don't though, right?) I also thought they looked pretty cool as well.

Mine came in the mail and I said out-loud, "Wow, no wonder they're called UGLEE!" I laughed, because although they look cool, they also just look... well, ugly. But it's not a bad kind, it's a fun kind of way.

When I started writing with them the jelly grip felt weird and fun to play with, like those squishy toys I would always play with at the store that my mom and dad would never let me get because they were gross. Totally understand guys, because this UGLee Pen picks up hair like one, too. I found myself picking some off here and there thanks to shedding mommy and kitty, but it works. It didn't totally take away from the ease of writing I found.

I noticed my hand did not cramp as easily as it normally would. I didn't get a little red spot on my fingers like I do sometimes, so the grip really works! It was a totally awesome experience to write with it. I actually go for this pen first now if I need to write anything down.

If you have kids that are learning to write, I think this is a fun way to teach them and help them with the correct gripping on the pen. Who WOULDN'T want to write with that fun of a utensil? :D
